Injured people now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI who to call. The AI names two or three firms. If yours is not one of them, you never get the call, and you never know the case existed. We test what AI says about your firm, fix it, and prove the movement every month. One firm per county per practice area.

These engines are already recommending law firms in your county, today. We audited three real Marin County personal injury firms: when Perplexity was asked for the best PI lawyer in Marin, it named one firm pulled from a Justia listing and skipped all three. You can run the search yourself and check.
Here's how injured people find a lawyer in 2026: they open ChatGPT or Perplexity, type "best personal injury lawyer near me," and get an answer. Not ten blue links. Two or three firm names, with phone numbers, presented as the answer.
Where do those names come from? A surprisingly small pool of pages: Expertise.com roundups, Yelp top-10 lists, Super Lawyers, Justia, FindLaw. The AI engines pull from those lists and repeat them with confidence.
If your firm is in that pool, you get named. If it isn't, you don't. There is no page two. The person never sees your site, never compares verdicts, never reads your reviews. They call whoever the AI named, and the case is gone before you knew it existed.
In our Marin County test, two of the three firms Perplexity recommended for "car accident in Novato" were not even Marin firms. That is who is getting your calls right now.
Every firm has a rainmaker: the partner who brings in the cases. For decades, rainmaking meant relationships, referrals, and a billboard on the 101. Then it meant ranking on Google. Now it means something new: being the name an AI model retrieves when someone in your county asks who to call.
The AI doesn't weigh your trial record. It doesn't know about your eight-figure verdict. It reads a handful of directory and roundup pages, checks whether your firm's data is structured in a way it can parse, and names whoever shows up cleanly in that small pool.
That means firms with worse results and thinner benches are getting named ahead of you, purely because a Justia listing or an Expertise.com roundup happens to include them. In our Marin audit, that is exactly what we found: one Justia listing decided the answer, and three established local firms were invisible.
To be straight with you: this only works if your firm is genuinely good. AI visibility multiplies real reviews, real results, and a real reputation. It can't fake them. But if you have the substance, and most established firms do, then the only thing missing is presence in the pool the AI reads from.
The thing standing between your firm and those cases isn't your record. It's whether the AI can find and cite you.
That's the gap The Rainmaker System closes.
I'm Josh Edelson. For 20 years I've been a professional photographer for AFP, Getty, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, and The New York Times. I built a multi-six-figure business on one skill that has nothing to do with cameras: being findable. When clients searched, I showed up. That's the whole game in a referral business, and it's the whole game in yours.
When search started shifting to AI, I saw my own visibility at risk, so I built a system to fix it: structured data the engines can parse, content they can cite, presence in the sources they pull from, and monthly re-testing to prove it's working. Today, ChatGPT and Claude send me real, paying clients. Not traffic. Clients who were told my name by an AI and picked up the phone.
I didn't read about this in a newsletter. I built it, ran it on my own business, and watched AI referrals show up as revenue. Now I run the same system for law firms.
One more thing worth saying plainly: I'm a systems builder selling a system I use myself, not an agency handing your account to an intern. The work is delivered by an automated agent system I built and operate, and I check the results the same way you can: by asking the AI and reading the answer.
The loop is simple. First we show you what AI says about your firm today, free, before you pay anything. Then we fix the gaps. Then we prove the movement with a monthly re-test report: from skipped to named. Four engines do the work.
Makes your firm machine-readable and present in the pool AI pulls from. Schema repair so the engines can parse your attorneys, practice areas, and locations. An llms.txt file. Placement in the directory and roundup pages that AI answers actually cite: the Expertise.com lists, Justia, the local top-10s. This is where the Marin firms lost, and it's fixable.
Builds the FAQ and content pages AI can quote. When someone asks "what should I do after a car accident in your county," the engines look for a clear, authoritative local answer to cite. We write and structure that content so the citation, and the recommendation that follows it, points at your firm.
Consolidates and grows your reviews where the engines actually read them. Most firms have reviews scattered across Google, Yelp, Avvo, and Facebook, in inconsistent volume. AI treats review signal as trust signal. We consolidate it, then run a steady system for growing it from your closed cases.
Every month, we re-run the exact questions a potential client would ask, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI, and send you the transcript. You see your firm move from skipped to named, question by question, engine by engine. No vanity dashboards. You can verify any line of the report by running the search yourself.
Pick a moment every managing partner should be thinking about. See what happens with the system in place, and what happens without it.
AI answers name two or three firms. If I worked for every PI firm in your county, I'd be competing with myself and diluting all of you. So I don't.
The Rainmaker System takes one firm per county per practice area. When your seat is claimed, every other firm in your county, in your practice area, is locked out for as long as you hold it. You're not buying a tool your competitors can also buy. You're buying the seat.
The only question is whether your firm takes your county's seat, or reads about the firm that did.
Those are the outlets I've shot for across 20+ years as a professional photographer. That career runs on the same economics as a law practice: reputation, referrals, and being the name that comes up when someone needs you. I built a multi-six-figure business on it, and when search started moving to AI, I built the system that kept that business findable. It works: ChatGPT and Claude send me paying clients today.
Then I tested it on law. I ran a live audit of three real Marin County personal injury firms. The results, which you can reproduce yourself right now:
Asked for the best personal injury lawyer in Marin County, Perplexity named one firm, pulled from a Justia listing, and skipped all three established firms. Asked about a car accident in Novato, two of the three firms it recommended were not Marin firms at all.
You don't have to take my word for any of this. Open Perplexity and run the searches. Then ask it about your own firm, in your own county. That answer, whatever it says, is your current AI visibility. The free test we run before your call simply does this systematically, across every engine, with the questions your actual clients ask.
Most firms are already spending on marketing. Here's the fair version of how the options stack up on the channel that's replacing search.

An SEO agency optimizes for a results page fewer people read every month, and will happily sign the firm down the street next quarter. Directory ads rent you a slot that disappears when you stop paying, on a page the AI may not even cite. The Rainmaker System works on the layer the engines actually read, proves it monthly, and takes one firm per county per practice area. That combination isn't in any other column.
The Rainmaker System is a managed monthly engagement: setup, all four engines, and the monthly proof report. Six-month minimum, because directory placement and citation building compound over months, not weeks. The average PI case fee covers years of this. The first three firms get the founding rate: $500 per month, locked for the first year.
Everything in the standard engagement at half the monthly rate, locked for your first year. In exchange, you agree to let us publish your before-and-after results as a case study (anonymized on request). $1,500 one-time setup applies. Three seats, then this rate is gone.
3 founding seats. $1,500 setup + $500/mo, 6-month minimum. Fit confirmed on the call.
The full system after the founding seats are taken: setup and repair in month one, then the ongoing loop of placement, content, reviews, and monthly proof reports. Six-month minimum. Your seat stays exclusive for as long as you hold it.
6-month minimum, then month to month. Cancel any time after.
Will you work with my competitors?
No. One firm per county per practice area is the entire model. Once your seat is claimed, every other firm in your county and practice area is locked out for as long as you're a client. If I diluted that, the system would stop making sense for everyone, including me.
How do I know any of this is real?
Run the test yourself, right now. Open ChatGPT or Perplexity and ask for the best personal injury lawyer in your county. See if your firm is named, and where the names come from. Then book the call: we run the full test across every engine before we talk, free, and walk you through the live results on screen. Every monthly report after that is verifiable the same way.
Isn't this just SEO with a new name?
It overlaps, but the target is different. SEO optimizes for a ranked results page. AI engines don't show a ranked page; they synthesize an answer from a small pool of sources they trust: directories, roundups, review signal, structured data. We work on that pool directly, and we measure the actual AI answers, not rankings. Your SEO usually improves as a side effect, because Google's AI results pull from the same sources.
Can you guarantee my firm gets named?
No one can honestly guarantee a specific AI output, and you should walk away from anyone who does. What I guarantee instead: a free baseline test before you pay anything, a monthly report showing real movement against that baseline, and a 30-day money-back guarantee if you don't like what you see. The Marin audit shows how thin the current pool is. Getting into it is an execution problem, and execution is what you're paying for.
Who actually does the work?
An automated agent system I built and operate: it handles the schema repair, the content drafting, the directory submissions, the review consolidation, and the monthly re-testing. I supervise it and review everything that touches your firm. You're buying a system from the person who built it, not a retainer that gets handed to an account coordinator.
Why a photographer, and not a legal marketing agency?
Because I solved this problem for real, on my own business, with my own money at stake, before selling it to anyone. AI referrals show up as revenue in my books today. Legal marketing agencies are still selling the last channel. And because I take one firm per county, I have no conflicting clients: every legal marketing agency in the country works for your competitors.
How fast will I see results?
Honestly, two timelines. Schema, llms.txt, and review consolidation are done in the first weeks and show up in the first re-tests. Directory and roundup placement, and the citations that follow, compound over two to four months as the engines refresh their sources. That's why the minimum is six months: it's the window where the movement becomes undeniable. The firms that win this are the ones that start before the seat next door is taken.
Is my county still open?
Book the call, or send the form below, and I'll tell you straight away. Seats go one at a time, first come. The three founding seats at $500 per month go first.
Book a 15-minute call and we'll run your firm's AI visibility test before we talk, so you see live results, not a pitch. Or send the form and I'll check whether your county's seat is still open.
